Well, I don’t like the lack of pictures and the fuse issue and I was going CP until I realized this was CAD and that’s actually in line with the ~$15-20 k USD these are worth

Cp. Only two pictures?! If it was someone reputable, they’d put up more pictures. I also think it has more electrical gremlins than just the gauge cluster.

I don’t know. When I bought my E55 the ad had two crappy exterior pictures and a description something along the lines of “good condition”

the guy never answered my messages. It took several tries to even get a response. I finally arranged a meeting to see it and literally waited an hour and a half for him to show up with the car.

The car was perfect and I am very happy with it!

I think your experience is the exception. You also were very persistent and determined so maybe the universe rewarded you with a great car. Is your E55 supercharged?

Nope, mine is post facelift NA w210, which is the one I wanted. The supercharged ones are cool and all but nowhere near as reliable as I understand it and honestly- I can’t even drive that one close to it’s potential on public roads without risking losing it all so that’s fine.
